In addition to big hitters like Wiz Khalifa, Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist, Curren$y has great chemistry with fellow Louisiana natives and Jet Life members Trademark Da Skydiver and Young Roddy. Between “Plan of Attack,” “Still,” “Jet Life to the Next Life” and arguably the best of the bunch “Pre-Roasted,” the perennially toasted trio have kept up a steady string of collaborations over the last decade.
Today Spitta, Trademark and Roddy reunite for this new joint called “No Hook,” which finds them trading slick verses over triumphant, horn-wailing production from Big $avage. It’s unclear when the song was recorded, but Roddy shouts out the late Nipsey Hussle (“I hustle like Nip, it’s all money in”).
