Newton Colours — Where the Weather Went
Newton Colours is an original collaboration between a British folk/ rock singer and French electro/ hip hop beatmaker, weaving genres into a unique sound.
Brian Walker — Call Me
Call Me was a song I wrote early last year reflecting on one of my past relationships. I produced the beat, mixed it, and had the song mastered by Chris Gehringer (“Closer”, The Chainsmokers) of Sterling Sound in Edgewater, NJ, just outside of NYC. There were several different versions of the pre-chorus and verses that continuously got changed over the past year, as I constantly tried to make the lyrics better, and make the song more digestible for the listener. The lyrics for this particular song were accurate to my personal experiences when I wrote it, so I feel a special connection to it. I feel like the song really got to the heart of exactly what I was trying to say. The minor 7th chord progression I chose gave “Call Me” that nice dark R&B vibe that I tend to gravitate towards, and the bass in the chorus gave it the exciting payoff that I like. Play this song on some big speakers with a lot of bass and crank the volume, and you’ll have the room shaking in the chorus 😉
COATS — The Ways
COATS is a proud LGBTQ indie artist that blends electronic beats with pop melody, infusing signature atmospheric and haunting vocal layers and effects.
Los Angeles based singer/songwriter/producer COATS is driven by love, pain, and all the trauma he endured and overcame growing up gay in the South. He uses his platform to speak about his mental health and anxiety disorders, and creates his original music as a form of healing for both himself, and his fans.
