Smoove Wallace — One Time

DMV Based artist Smoove Wallace shares with us his latest release titled “One Time.” The catchy rhythm stood out amongst others, sounding like what NAV would write and it’s something we think you need to listen to below.

Aaron Taos — Bloom

“Bloom” is a track about me having a crush on my friend’s sister. It’s got the whole forbidden fruit vibe where we both have feelings for each other but are unable to act on them given the context. The song is my confession about this underlying tension and making the case to this person that we should give in to our feelings. It’s the fantasy of letting our love blossom – a natural progression like the spring flowers in bloom.

Listen below and watch out for the video which is dropping next week.

SMJ — Trees

SMJ shares his new release titled “Trees”

“I wrote this song on a long drive through the Northern part of Michigan, UP” SMJ says.“ I was inspired by all the Tress that I had passed on my way and thought to myself “Trees are so peaceful and they provide such a great deal of cover”. From that point I started the intro “In the Trees we stay up…” I knew I had something good going so it was just up to me to finish the song and now it will be dropping!”

Fraser Rathmell — Hard Out Here

Fraser Rathmell is a producer and songwriter from Tasmania, Australia who produces R&B influenced tracks with hints of hip hop, electronic and rap. Hard Out Here is Fraser’s latest single.

Hard Out Here is lofi hip hop track layered with vocals on top of a feel-good bouncy beat. The track is about trying your best to make a future for yourself but at the same time facing the reality that it’s hard to always keep pushing. There’s a lot of pressure on young people and it’s often hard to express that.

Hard out Here was written, recorded and produced by Fraser in his bedroom. It started with a guitar sample which was expanded into a full song with full instrumentation.

Hard Out Here is about how at this time in my life I’ve got to work really hard and do the best that I can in order to set myself up for the future and to get out of my hometown to pursue bigger and better things. I feel this is a common feeling that the people around me share. It really is hard out here.” – Fraser Rathmell

MOLEKEY — Losing You to Yourself

There aren’t any artists with a sound like MOLEKEY– his unique voice marries the worlds of dark pop & alternative R&B (compared to the likeness of The Weeknd, BANKS, Blackbear). The music gives you a surreal, cinematic, atmospheric feeling, while bringing a “trap” style approach to the drums. His voice has a hint of rasp that some people have compared to Linkin Park’s lead singer, the late Chester Bennington. MOLEKEY brings a quirky rock vibe to the Dark Pop and R&B world – singing about pain, loss, heartbreak, and mental health rather than the joys and excitement of new love.

Lil Halima — who do u love

Lil Halima ́s enthusiasm for music has been a part of her since birth.
