The Jase Harley produced track originally appeared on his eye-opening LP Free Pxrn: The Memoir of an American Heathen, and featured rising Bayonne rapper J.I. The song’s been widely considered one of Harley’s best of 2016, so his decision to add more layers to it may have seemed unnecessary at first but with one listen it’s obvious that the move has paid off.
