This months Radar has been filled with emotional and smooth singles. Ezkiel’s single “View” stands out on a lane of it’s own. The emotionally filled single lingers on, with his smooth vocals, complemented by wavy instrumental. I believe this song could open doors for the Chicago born singer who has given fans a double dose of entertainment with his latest release “View” as well as announcing the release of his self titled EP “Ezkiel” on Spotify and iTunes!
“The single “View” is a reflection of the relationship between Ezkiel and his lady. The lyrics tell a chronological tale of how the two met when the artist was facing “dark times” and how, over time, the woman did not seem to feel the same type of care for Ezkiel as he did for her. Ezkiel had focused so long on his care and lover for the woman, that he was overlooking many signs of the fall of their relationship. After constantly being lied to and eventually feeling unappreciated, Ezkiel decided he needed to change his view, step back and observe the larger picture, just as he’d encouraged told his lover to do, in his previous single “Focus”. Shifting his perspective allowed Ezkiel to see that he would be better off loving this woman from afar, rather than to maintain the same tainted view.”
