North Philadelphia native and Rap veteran Freeway hasn’t been too active in releasing music these past few years but he does have a solid reason for it. The rapper was diagnosed with kidney failure back in 2015 which was a major scare for him and his family.
He has now recovered successfully and raring to go with the music. He unveils a new song and accompanying video today called ‘Devils & Angels’ where’s giving us some life lessons. Listen closely. There were some rumors last year that he may have signed a new deal with Roc Nation but there’s no confirmation to it yet.
In this clip, you can see Freeway and Young Guru in the studio towards the end so maybe that’s a hint at the Roc Nation ties. We will see.
