Kool G Rap returns with “Wise Guys.”
It’s been six years since Kool G Rap last released an album (2011’s Riches, Royalty, Respect), but today the Corono, Queens OG kickstarts the campaign for his upcoming Return of the Don LP by dropping this thumping new single featuring Freeway and M.O.P.’s Fame. While MoSS handles the production, Statik Selektah supplies the cuts for the hook that borrows lines from Kool G Rap’s 1995 collaboration with Nas, “Fast Life.”
Arriving June 2, Return of the Don features additional guest spots from Raekwon, Sheek Louch, Noreaga, Conway and Westside Gunn.
