Ice Prince Wins ‘Best African Act’ at BET Awards 2013

30 Jun 2013 By Prodizzle

Ice-Prince-VIP-Slide-LeadIt’s all big news and smiles for Ice Prince, as he bagged the award for the ‘Best African Act‘ at the 2013 edition of theBET Awards.

He was awarded the award earlier this evening at the BET Broadcast center prior to the kick off of the actual award ceremony in Los Angeles.

He beat out 2face, Toya Delazy (South Africa), Donald (South Africa), R2Bees (Ghana) & Radio and Weasel (Uganda). Last year he lost the award to fellow Nigerian act, WizKid & Sarkodie from Ghana. Winning this award makes Ice Prince the 4th Nigerian to win this award, joining WizKid (2012), Dbanj & 2face (2011).

Big Congratulations to Ice Prince. It’s definitely been a great year for the Chocolate City Rapper.
