Rising star Icey Stanley releases single Good Enough featuring Jordan Mackampa on Yah Yah Records. The single is taken from his debut EP One Take.
The track tells a tale of an imperfect bittersweet relationship. Icey Stanley’s hook is honest, raw and contrasts perfectly to Jordan’s soulful lyrics. The music video directed by Rey was filmed in Coombe Abbey Park, Coventry. The video symbolizes the push and pull within a relationship through pure cinema and has an underlying political message.
Icey began his music career during his school years after finding music an engaging method to express his life and voice his opinions. Growing up in Coventry, Iceybecame deeply involved in the local Hip Hop scene as he made a name for himself making musical compositions for other artists. He grabbed the attention of the small city with the inimitable, melodious flows and has had support from BBC Coventry & Warwickshire and played Coventry Carribean & Godiva festivals several years running.
