Jay Z to Launch New Digital Video Program

MarketWatch.com is reporting that Jay Z is about to launch 40/40 Live, which is a “digital video program.” It will be shown on Time Inc.’s new video platform and part of a number of shows that will feature “personality-driven series, powerful documentary programs and reality shows.” MarketWatch’s official summary of 40/40 Live is this:

“40/40 Live: JAY Z’s The 40/40 Club in Manhattan is the setting for this exciting new talk show. Produced in collaboration with JAY Z’s Life+Times and hosted by WNBA point guard Skylar Diggins, 40/40 Live blends the worlds of hip hop and sports celebrity to provide a fresh and unfiltered conversation around sports, fame, music and more. With the energy of this luxury sports bar as a backdrop and the rising talent of Skylar and her celebrity guests, 40/40 Live promises to be edgy, unpredictable and compelling.”

 

The program is part of the incredibly wealthy Jay Z’s Life + Times venture, with content from discussions with personalities in sports, fame, music and more. It will be filmed at the TIDAL owner’s own 40/40 Club and hosted by WNBA’s Skylar Diggins.
