Jeezy sat down with VladTV and briefly spoke about Bishop T.D. Jakes suing him for a snippet of one of his sermons being used on the remix to Jeezy’s “Holy Ghost” featuring Kendrick Lamar.
The “Seen It All” rapper said that he understands where Jakes is coming from, but there’s a different way he could’ve handled it. For instance, President Obama couldn’t be photographed with Jeezy for political reasons, and though he shouted out the rapper in the past, he appreciated the love he was shown.
Jeezy also said that the sample appearing on the song was an engineering mistake and despite all parties agreeing on its removal, it somehow remained on.
