Jorja Smith – Let Me Down Feat. Stormzy [New Song]

Jorja Smith taps Stormzy for her latest single “Let Me Down.”

After breaking out in 2017 thanks to her Preditah-produced “On My Mind” and double appearance on Drake’s More Life, Jorja Smith kicks off what’s sure to be an even bigger year by dropping her new single, “Let Me Down.” The stripped down song finds the Walsall-born singer showcasing her stunning vocals while teaming up with fellow Brit Stormzy, who’s also basking brightly in the limelight right now.

“The version that you’ve got now that’s the demo version because I hate re-recording,” Jorja Smith told Beats 1’s Julie Adenuga during a recent interview. “[Stormzy] hit me up after ‘Blue Lights’ and then I was in the studio with Ed and he came through to the session, but I had already wrote the beginning of it and then we just left verse two. Stormzy was so late. But it was cool because his verse made up for it and he is sick, it just made sense and it worked.”
