London singer-songwriter Kwaku Asante has released the lead single for his upcoming project, Blue Solstice Volume 2 (September 13th).
With ‘The Real Thing,’ Kwaku explores the complexity of love and his pursuit for that one true love, all while being produced by multi-platinum producer Fred Cox. Kwaku searches both inwardly and outwardly, but he is sure of his value and will accept nothing less than “The Real Thing.” Anyone looking for love will find something relatable in Kwaku’s new track, which has his sensual vocals and complex writing. Regarding the song, Kwaku stated:
“I’m always on the lookout for what or who is best for me, whether it be romantically or socially. Discussing paranoid notions that, in my opinion, have no place alongside “The Real Thing.” What I, and many others, deserve is a community of individuals who have your back. I still think it’s an issue that young people nowadays have a hard time committing and opening out to others.
