Liana Bank$ taps Ayo Jay for in her new video for “People Like Me.”
The video, the most recent single from her highly anticipated sophomore project, APT. 210, boasts psychedelic, pop-art visuals, matching the likes of Tyler, The Creator, and Jhené Aiko, while complimenting the heavy Caribbean influenced track, with smooth accompanists from ‘Boy Wonder’ Ayo Jay. These fresh sounds have become the core of Liana’s sound and has led to HYPEBAE describing the track as a ‘certified summer jam’.
A songwriter first and foremost, it seems nothing can slow down the 26 year-old who recently celebrated the charting success of “Selfish” by PnB Rock, which Liana co-wrote, as well as penning a number of tracks for Lily Allen. This second project from Liana can only add to the success of her fierce debut and showcase why she is a creative force to be reckoned with.
