Lil Wayne Announces ‘The Dedication’ Tour With Rae Sremmurd.
While his once-successful strategy of releasing mixtape after mixtape just doesn’t seem to be cutting it anymore, Lil Wayne is turning to one of the best live acts in the game to help inject some life into his otherwise stale streak. Fresh off the release of No Ceilings 2, Weezy has announced The Dedication tour with special guests Rae Sremmurd. The 19-city trek, which is “a personal thank you from Lil Wayne dedicated to all of his fans in cities he has rarely visited on his past tour runs,” kicks off on January 21 in El Paso, Texas.
Rae Sremmurd recently announced their own concert plans, including the first annual SremmFest. The three-day festival takes place in their hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi between December 18 and 20.
