Little Grace release the 2nd single from their new EP OneOrTwo More Blacksheep. The story is told through the eyes of inquisitive males in their 20’s, growing up and studying music has left each of them with lots of questions about life.
Why are my friends buying houses and having children and following typical societal trends? Why do I not feel the desire to do the same? The song searches for advice and approval from their parents (who have followed society’s ‘normal life’ path) on their unconventional choice to create music for living.
Blacksheep is aptly named when compared to the groups previous body of work, being the first track to step away from the topic of love and romantic relationships and focus more on our collective relationship with society and working class culture.
‘I decided to explore why I felt wrong, so I delved into the things that haven’t worked out, taking note of some of my family’s history and understanding what influence each situation has had on my upbringing, I used these histories to understand why I am who I am, the odd one out, the blacksheep.’
