Major Lazer bring their latest house party anthem to life in the fittingly house party-themed video for “Run Up.”
The Paul, Luc and Martin-directed clip features appearances from PARTYNEXTDOOR and Nicki Minaj, but it seems like everyone else is too busy FaceTiming to care. “The idea was to laugh at ourselves and at the unconditional love we bear to our smartphones,” the directors said. “Humor and absurdity came naturally in our speech because our will was not to accuse someone or something but just exaggerate it to foster reflection.”
