Watch Migos, Ed Sheeran & DJ Khaled perform on ‘TRL’ Kickoff.
After being off-air for nine years, MTV’s TRL made its return on Monday (Oct. 2) with the help of some big stars. DJ Khaled and his son Asahd commemorated the moment by raising the Times Square Ball outside among various spectators in the heart of Manhattan. Atlanta trio Migos brought their splash and shine to the stage, performing their new single “Too Hotty” in the middle of Times Square. Quavo, Takeoff and Offset also revealed during the appearance that their label QC’s Control the Streets, Vol. 1 compilation LP will arrive in November.
The loudest screams during TRL‘s premiere were saved for Ed Sheeran, who performed the songs “Perfect” and “Castle on the Hill.” Viewers can catch MTV’s TRL weekdays live at 3:30 p.m. ET.
