Berlin-based Austrian songwriter and producer narou shares the new single “Honest” featuring Golow.
The new single marks his second release from his upcoming debut EP ‘GOOD COMPANY’ scheduled for release in September. Connecting with his recently released single ‘Deep End’, ‘Honest’ describes feelings and thoughts after a fight in an intimate relationship.
With the second verse, performed by his talented friend Golow, he really tried to tap into these indecisive and insecure thoughts and behaviours. Saying that we are tired of playing games, that we might not be enough and taking the blame by essentially saying that we might be the reason why we are constantly getting lied to. We pretend like we are okay with this and ready to move on.
“The essence of the song is basically me asking for transparency and total honesty, to myself and from others, which, in my opinion, is the foundation of self-love and a healthy relationship.” narou concludes.
