It all started with Fat Joe’s ‘Lord Above‘ track where Em throws shots at Nick Cannon bringing back to light their years old beef over Mariah Carey. “I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note/ But that other dude’s whipped — that p—- got him neutered,” Eminem rapped on the new track which also featured Mary J. Blige. “Tried to tell him this chick’s a nut job before he got his jewels clipped/ Almost got my caboose kicked/ Fool, quit/ You not gonna do s—/ I let her chop my balls off too before I lose to you, Nick.”
Nick took note of the shots and invited Em to take part in his Wild N’ Out show on MTV. “@FatJoe album is
Star studded, he even did some charity work and dug @Eminem out his grave I mean cave!! LOL FLAM FLAM! BLAM BLAM! NICK CANNON!! Bring your Ass to @MTVWILDNOUT to Battle like a real legend Grandpa Marsha,” the actor/rapper/radio personality wrote on Instagram.
But he has now addressed the issue properly on wax, releasing the song ‘The Invitation’ which even features Suge Knight dissing Eminem via a voice note from jail. The track is also accompanied by a brand new visual. “Call Kim, somebody get Halie, and that other kid you’re raising, ain’t even your baby,” he raps on the disrespectful track which is produced by Hitmaka and also features some of Nick’s friends including Hitman Holla, Charlie Clips and Prince Eazy.
