From the streets to the mansion by the ocean. Nipsey Hussle captures quite a love story in his new video “Double Up.” The 11-minute short-film co-stars Lauren London, who plays Nipsey’s girlfriend, fed up with his street life and leaves him. The two encounter each other ten years later, where the L.A. rapper makes a big real estate purchase (London’s former place with her wealthy husband). What appears to be a rekindling turns out to be an awkward ending during a house warming party. Actor Jackie Long, Dave East, Belly and DOM Kennedy all appear in the music video in support of Nipsey’s Victory Lap album.
