Belly has recently revealed Mumble Rap 2, and the first track, “American Nightmare,” has been released.
The music video, directed by Darren Craig, features creepy shots of Belly and an unnamed accomplice travelling about in a stolen car on a dark and stormy night.
The Arabian Dream raps defiantly over Hit-Boy’s beat, ‘Five mil’ for the Cali’ crib, middle finger to my old neighbours’. “I’m in the nation illegally and released an album called IMMIGRANT,” he said.
Mumble Rap 2, the sequel to Belly’s 2017 Mumble Rap produced by Boi-1da, was produced by Hit-Boy. It will also be the first studio album from the Ontario rapper since his debut in 2021, See You Next Wednesday.
