Nigeria’s Afro-Pop sensation, Oxlade, returns with his first solo release of 2024, “Arabambi.” After teaming up with Dave on “Intoxycated” and releasing the dual singles “Piano / Katigori” last year, Oxlade is back with a fresh track ahead of his highly anticipated debut album, Oxlade From Africa, set to release later this year.
“Arabambi” is a vibrant celebration of love and community, reflecting Oxlade’s deep Nigerian roots. He describes the track as embodying the spirit of the people, drawing inspiration from the nickname of legendary Nigerian Fuji musician K1 De Ultimate. The melody, influenced by American singer Miguel, combines braggadocious lyrics with Oxlade’s signature smooth vocals. Interestingly, “Arabambi” was initially intended for his COLORSxSTUDIO performance before he chose “Ku Lo Sa.”
With “Arabambi,” Oxlade continues to showcase his dynamic vocal talent and unique style, solidifying his place in the Afro-Pop scene as he prepares for the release of his debut album.
