Pink joins forces with Eminem again for “Revenge.”
They previously collaborated on “Won’t Back Down” off 2010’s Recovery and “Here Comes The Weekend” from 2012’s The Truth About Love. Now Pink and Eminem team up again for the trifecta, officially dropping their latest track, “Revenge.” Off Pink’s newly released Beautiful Trauma LP, the Pop/Rock singer and Detroit rapper go back-and-forth over a subject of sweet revenge on an ex. Instead of an anger-filled record, the pair go a different direction with a more playful, quirky play on a relationship issue many listeners can relate to.
“I reached out to him in this case,” said Pink in an interview with UK’s Lorraine Magazine, speaking about the song came together. “I love him. I’ve always loved him. I think he’s a lyrical genius, and I just wrote him a love letter. I wrote him an email and I said, ‘I love you. I’ve always loved you. I’ve loved you since you gave me your autograph at the 2001 MTV Music Video Awards. I love that you always work with the same people.’ I just wrote this love letter, and he just wrote back ‘OK.‘,” she would later say, referring to her drunken moment reaching out to Slim Shady.
