Midori Jaeger a cellist and singer premiers her second single ‘Upon Your Ear.’
The new release is a follow up from her November 2019 single “Breeze” which gained loads of traction after debuting on Mahogany and Somewhere Soul. Filled with soulful vocals similar to “Breeze,” “Upon Your Ear” consists of an intriguing instrumental which blends smoothly with midori’s astonishing vocals.
With a degree in classical cello from the Royal Academy of Music in London, midori’s wealth of experience from recording for the likes of Ex:Re, Jocelyn Pook, Joseph Lawrence & the Garden, Seven Eyes and many has helped shaped her into an amazing artist.
‘Upon Your Ear is a song about escaping with a lover. In a time where we’re constantly escaping from the physical reality around us through plugging into online worlds through devices, we can lose touch with the contentment and the sense of belonging that can come from really being present in the company of people. I wanted to get across the power of physical affection in helping us to feel situated in the world, and outside of our heads.’
