Pusha T cut his hair.
Last time we have seen Pusha T without braids was in 1999 when the Clipse released the music video for their debut single “The Funeral” off their first unreleased album Exclusive Audio Footage. Taking to Instagram yesterday, the G.O.O.D. Music Golden Child told his followers he cut off his signature braids. Posting a photo of him getting a luxe facial in Hong Kong, he picked the following caption:
“Just cut my braids off, now it’s time for my 2500 dollar facial…”
Pusha is yet to share a selfie without the facial mask. In the meantime, we are curious if the change will influence his raps. After all, he has been claiming for years that his power was in his hair, like Samson from the Bible. On a more serious note, Pusha T is currently finalizing his sophomore solo album King Push, which will be the rap album of 2015, if you ask the man himself. Stay tuned for details on the project.
