Following the recent release of his single “Mr. Put That Shit On,” CyHi the Prynce has dropped the corresponding music video. The self-directed visual takes place on a farm, featuring CyHi as a scarecrow crucified to a cross and playing various roles, including a jheri-curled host on a red carpet and a podcast interview reminiscent of The Joe Budden Podcast.
In the song, CyHi delivers sharp lines while Pusha T, who doesn’t make a physical appearance in the video, handles the hook. The track is part of CyHi’s upcoming album, The Story of Mr. EGOT, which is highly anticipated as the follow-up to his 2017 release, No Dope On Sundays. The video adds an engaging visual dimension to the lyrical prowess of “Mr. Put That Shit On.”
