It’s been a week since Pusha T took to Instagram to inform his followers he cut off his signature braids. To be frank, we found it shocking that the rapper sacrificed the alleged source of his lyrical power just to get a $2,500 facial, but then again we though he might be looking forward to a change after he has been wearing the same haircut for 15 years.
Last weekend, the G.O.O.D. Music golden child returned to social media to publish a photo from his latest concert in Mexico. Aside from name dropping his label mate Big Sean and his latest album Dark Sky Paradise, he also used the hashtag #OhYeahThePowers StillInMyHairN****s. Indeed, in the photo in question the rapper could be seen rocking his braids.

Evidently, the rapper, whose sophomore album King Push might be dropping on June 30th, played us all. Nice move, Push, nice move!
