The powerful new song ‘Safe’ is a follow up to Q.Z’ album Dark Matter(s) released earlier in May. The new release explores the criminalization of POC in America. The poignAnt track finds Q.Z. weaving an intimate story about his own interactions with law enforcement backed by a hazy boom-bap soundscape and muted guitars. The song is a powerful ode to the social upheaval being witnessed in 2020. The track features Devans Verse and is produced Midas Tracks.
