With her debut EP “Obsessions” scheduled for release on the 29th of May, singer-songwriter Rachel Kerry gives fans a taste of what to expect with the lead single “High.”
The Joe Rodwell produced lead single ‘High’ is a chilled-out heartbreak track for the dancefloor, about that intoxicating rush you get when you’re into someone. This song brings longing, softly sung vocals over a mix of classic retro and colourful synth sounds, and a rhythmic, danceable beat. The track is rounded off with a Bjork-Esque, shimmering string outro.
The single is also accompanied by a music video which sees Rachel in psychedelic and colourful setting, addressing the camera throughout while the visuals get increasingly hallucinogenic. Watch the video above.
