RADAR: Yoji — Satellite

Meet YOJI, tipped by Vodafone Future Breakers to be a ‘future chart success’, she is set to take the charts by storm with her new single. YOJI is bringing all the feels with “Satellite”, a metaphor for being there for each other in a digital age and a reminder to stay connected with friends. Sounding the silence, YOJI is spreading the message to remind people to reach out to friends and family

in times of need and loneliness. “Satellite” features a beautiful choral arrangement sang by singers from London Gospel Community Choir which uplifts the song and signifies care in unity. Teaming up with The Samaritans YOJI is raising awareness for mental health and also donating the proceeds of all streams and downloads to the charity.

YOJI says:

“I wrote Satellite for someone close to me after personal experiences has taught me how important it is to stay connected with friends and remind each other we are not alone. I am inspired by artists who write music with a meaning and I have learnt so many life lessons from artists such as Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill & Carol King. I hope my songs can impact listeners in a positive way.”
