Produced by Scott Bridgeway, known for his work with Baby Keem, Chlöe, and Kendrick Lamar, “Like This” breathes new life into Ginuwine’s 2001 classic “Differences.” The song features a smooth, pulsating bassline that drives the rhythm, while Sugarhill Ddot delivers sharp verses and a catchy, heartbroken chorus, asking, “Why are you treating me like this?”
The accompanying visual, directed by Shakka Ranks, showcases Sugarhill Ddot’s charisma as he raps to the camera during a laid-back date at a New York City bowling alley. Between arcade games and bowling strikes, the video perfectly captures the song’s youthful and emotional vibe.
