Sugarhill Gang’s Big Bank Hank Dies at 57 from Cancer

Justin Timberlake And Friends Old School Jam - ShowAccording to TMZ, the rapper from Sugarhill Gang, Big Bank Hank passed away around 2 AM this Tuesday in the greater NYC area, at the such young age of 57.
Hank, whose real name was Henry Jackson, was best known as “the grandmaster with 3 MCs that shock the house for the young ladies”. He was one third of the famous Sugarhill Gang, which had the first mainstream rap hit ever in 1979. The track is called “Rapper’s Delight”.
Hank’s group mates, Wonder Mike and Master Gee, expressed their sadness about his death.

So sad to hear of our brother’s passing. Rest in peace Big Bank.” they told TMZ.
