TA – One Time Feat. Fat Joe & Remy Ma

Fat Joe and Remy Ma team with TA on the Wu-Tang Clan-inspired banger “One Time.”

Sampling 1993’s Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers classics “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Method Man,” “One Time” is a throwback New York track filled with clever punchlines. “Facts,” raps Joe. “And we got another one / Everybody with the smoke but they never come.”

Bronx representer TA delivers the second verse with an homage to Fat Joe’s “So Excited.” “When she on that drink, man, you know she get excited,” he raps. “Tell her bring her friends, yeah, you know they all invited.”

Finally, Reminisce rounds out the track with a message to her competitors. “I’ma tell y’all little bitches one time,” she raps. “I will kill your whole career with one rhyme / One line since I was one-nine / Y’all couldn’t fuck with me if your flows was combined.”

Joe has spent the past month working on relief for Puerto Rico. Meanwhile, Remy is prepping for her debut album, Seven Winters, Six Summers, with the upcoming release of her Lil’ Kim collaboration, “Wake Me Up.”
