Producer Hit-Boy, alongside his father Big Hit, surprises fans with a collaborative project titled “Paisley Dreams” featuring none other than West Coast rapper The Game. The unexpected release comprises nine tracks, showcasing the trio’s musical synergy.
The project includes tracks like “Backfade,” “Bang Freestyle,” “The Game Won’t Stop,” “Happy Ru Year,” among others. Special guest appearances come from Dom Kennedy on “Crisis” and Teeflii on “Cutthroat.” In addition to the audio release, music videos for “Paisley Dreams” and “P Fiction” were also dropped.
Hit-Boy shared the spontaneous origin of the album, explaining, “The Game pulled up on me and Big Hit 4 days ago, and I was thinking maybe we ask him to get on the ‘Bang Freestyle’ remix or something at MOST, but instead, he locked in with us for the rest of the night, and we made a 9 song album. Here it is ‘Paisley Dreams’ by The Game and Big Hit executive produced by Hit-Boy.”
Big Hit, recently off the release of his album “The Truth Is In My Eyes,” had earlier collaborated with Hit-Boy on their father-son project, “Surf Or Drown 2.” For The Game, “Paisley Dreams” marks his first album since the previous year’s “Drillmatic.”
