Tinashe has released BB/ANG3L, her sixth studio album and the follow-up to her 2021 release, 333.
Tinashe says of her album, “I was very inspired by the concept of identity.” “I’m investigating my sense of self and testing the assumptions of others around me. I think we each get to decide how we want to present ourselves to the world, and I’ve liked the process of peeling away the superficial layers of my identity to reveal the real me. I want this album to be a reflection of who we are at our most fundamental level, when we are alone ourselves, unadorned and unfiltered.
There are seven songs total, but the centrepieces are “Talk to Me Nice” and “Needs.” Tinashe has also released a music video for “Uh Huh” to coincide with the album’s debut. Play BB/ANG3L in the player down below.
