Known for her smooth and silk sound, Tomi Agape returns with a brand new Juls produced track entitled “Better.”
Haven worked with the likes of Burna Boy & Mr Eazi, multitalented artist/producer Juls’ has teamed up with Tomi Agape to help produce the amazing new track “Better.” The new release marks Tomi’s third official single for 2020 and it reaffirms her creativity amongst her peers.
The smooth new single is also accompanied by a visual treatment which brings the track to life.
Tomi’s inspiration is a fusion of her culture as well as looking to her icons; Jill Scott, Erykah Badu and Beyonce. A true underground legend, the singer-songwriter was a key figure in both London and Nigeria’s Alté scene, being one of the first women to experiment with the genre. Tomi went on to collaborate with some of the movements most exciting artists, including Santi’s culturally defining track ‘Rapid Fire’, which also features Amaarae and Shane Eag
