Trinidad James releases new song “Palm Tree”

After giving us the island-influenced Trips to TrinidadEP just over ten days ago, Trinidad James is back today with another warm-weather-loving record. This time he takes us to the West Coast with the feel-good and slightly g-funk-y “Palm Trees.” He details his adventures in California, from Fairfax to In-N-Out Burger. Although he’s an Atlanta native, this sound is anything but ATL. Does it work for Trinidad? It definitely seems he’s been experimenting with his sound since being cut off from Def Jam.
