Vic Mensa shares new video for “Rage.”
Vic Mensa’s “Rage” isn’t your typical private jet rap music video. While cruising at 10,000 feet, the Chicago rapper’s flight turns into a scene from Final Destination as his plane comes crashing down into the ocean in flames. Really, it’s a reflection of the turbulence in Vic’s life as he wrestles with drugs, depression and fame. “This music video and song were done before the rest of the album was recorded, and really laid the foundation for the emotions that would become The Autobiography,” he tells The FADER.
“Rage” originally appeared on Vic Mensa’s The Manuscript EP, but will be included on his upcoming album The Autobiography (out July 28) along with “Rollin’ Like a Stoner” and the Pusha T-assisted “OMG.”
