The Chicago rapper drops some cocky lines over a bouncy beat, bringing up his long career in the process.
How many years have I been dope, man?,” Vic says. “I got a whole new gameplan, I’m doing numbers like Rain Man.” After mentioning his 93 Boyz marijuana company and meeting Akufo-Addo, he says, “I said fuck it and started a weed brand / And I’m connected like Edison, ay / Meeting with African presidents, ay / I got a plan for the continent, ay.”
Releasing this Friday (Sep. 15), “LVLN Up” is the follow-up song to Vic Mensa’s first hit, “Blue Eyes,” both of which can be found on his upcoming sophomore album, Victor.
