Dublin Rapper Archy Moor Shares New Video for “Sick”

From his highly anticipated upcoming EP Cosy, out August 30 on Cloud X, comes the powerful new tune “Sick” by Nigerian-born, Dublin-based, rapid-rising rap phenom Archy Moor.

Archy Moor is widely regarded as one of the most intriguing and naturally reactive artists to emerge from these shores in recent years after the success of his debut EP Bonnie Hill earlier this year and his recent tour support for Denzel Curry, one of America’s hottest rappers right now. Archy’s new single “Sick” reveals a sleeker and more aggressive side to the Dublin-based rapper, as he offers his sleek flow and sharp adlibs atop hard-hitting percussive elements and distorted vocals throughout. The song was produced in a three-day stint during London Fashion Week 23′ alongside close friend and collaborator Earl Saga (Loyle Carner, Arlo Parks, JGrrey). Archy’s solo EP has been eagerly awaited, and “Sick” is a fan favourite that he had to play many times at his last Denzel Curry support show.

This versatile and fresh new offering proves to be another fitting introduction that continues to launch Archy into significant UK hip-hop conversations, as he continues to surround himself with some of music’s very best creatives.

On “Sick,” Archy says, “So many times for me being proud and openly vocal about attaining various things has always been met with sour glances and comments instead of the intended, “congratulations on this etc.” That inspired me to accomplish and enjoy my musical successes on my own, sharing my thoughts on them with few others. This song wipes the slate clean and affirms the merits of these accomplishments, encouraging the listener to “do you and forget what others think.”
