The young Afrobeats duo form one of the most exciting Afrobeats collectives in the country and are back with the video for their single ‘Way I Live’. Having been the under current of the scene for the past year snatching up a cult following of fans YFS are back in a major dropping the visuals in the lead up to their follow up EP ‘Next Life’ which is set to be realised in Sep/Oct. YFS are most definitely one of the pioneering collective’s in today’s UK Afrobeats music scene, bringing you consistent, party ready summer hits even in the winter months. With a string of releases under their belt accumulating hundred’s of thousands of hits online and after putting out their debut EP ‘One Life’, YFS are back to close the summer with another anthem. Their single ‘Way I Live’ has now received the visual treatment to bring you the fun summer vibes expected from the duo.
Having already worked with the likes of Wizkid, Maleek Berry, Burna Boy, Iyanya, 2Kriss, Olamide, Kojo Funds, SK, Sona, MoeLogo, Kwamz and Flava alongside getting co-signs from industry big hitters in the Afrobeats scene, it’s fair to say YFS are creating some serious waves online. Offline YFS aren’t shy of a few fans either with the duo following up their recent EP with their first sold out headline show at the Camden Assembly. No strangers to the stage with one half of YFS Esdee having performed throughout Nigeria at the age of just 17 followed up with by a support slot at the Hammersmith Apollo on the Wizkid UK Tour in 2012, YFS are naturals when it comes to performing. Garnering recognition and acclaim from bother the UK scene and the African scene, YFS are primed and ready to set the summer off.
