Yiigaa shares her latest offering entitled “For Me,” a single set to feature on her “Inner Dawn” EP set for release November 27th
The new song “For Me” is filled with good vibes and amazing vocals from Yiigaa. She laces the upbeat production with a catchy melody to bring people together. Speaking on the track, Yiigaa said “‘For Me’ is “a declaration of love – it is about overcoming darkness and finding light and acceptance.”
In addition to her rich musical heritage, Yiigaa is also an accomplished actor and is part of the coveted National Youth Theatre. In October 2020, Yiigaa featured in the Abdou Cisse short film ‘Damage Control (Enough)’ which aired on Channel 4 as part of the channel’s boundary-pushing short film strand, ‘Random Acts’.
The new EP, ‘Inner Dawn’ is about re-birth, marking Yiigaa’s personal journey in finding herself and who she truly wants to be as an artist – one who makes feel-good electronic music that exists to bring people together and who strives to celebrate her heritage through her music and aesthetic.
