After an active summer performing several shows including Leeds Festival, rapper YS Tekdinner is now officially closing off summer with his latest release ‘Carni’ – the follow up of his highly anticipated single ‘Stepped In’ which got championed by Dummy Mag, GRM Daily and GUAP Magazine among other.
Inspired by the illustrious annual Notting Hill Carnival in West London, as the title lets you assume already, YS shares his experiences of attending the celebration of cultures in previous years. Giving insight of wild stories and things you can expect when going there, the artist genuinely tries to put the listeners into his perspective.
He says: “I really want to put somebody in my shoes as I’ve been to many carnivals. I want to let them know how it really goes down and tell them about girls twerking on floats”.
