Migos ‘CULTURE II’ Debuts No. 1 on Billboard

The Atlanta group’s new album, CULTURE II, debuts No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Lead by the singles “Motor Sport” and “Stir Fry,” the album moved 199,000 equivalent album units opening week, according to Nielsen MusicCULTURE II follows up last year’s platinum-selling CULTUREalbum, which also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard with 131,000 units opening week in January 2017. Offset, Quavo and Takeoff also become the fifth rap group with more than one No. 1 album. They join the Beastie Boys (four No. 1s between 1987 and 2004), A Tribe Called Quest (two, in 1996 and 2016), Bone Thugs-N-Harmony (two, in 1995 and 1997) and D12 (two, in 2001 and 2004).

The Migos will appear on Saturday Night Live on March 3, with guest host Charles Barkley.
