The Weeknd Performs “Earned It” at the Oscars 2016

The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Drake & Fetty Wap Lead Billboard Music Awards Nominations.

The 2016 Billboard Music Awards takes over Sin City next month. Before the main show arrives, nominees (finalists) in key major categories were announced on Good Morning America on Monday (Apr. 11). Ciara and Ludacris, who will serve as co-hosts as this year’s show, appeared on GMA to announced the finalists for Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Female Artist, Top New Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Hot 100 Song.

The Weeknd leads the BBMAs with 11 nominations including Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, and Top Hot 100 Artist. Justin Bieber also earns 11 nods, with Drake and Fetty Wap who are tied with 10 nominations. Adele receives 8 nods, potentially making history by earning the most Billboard Music Awards wins surpassing Taylor Swift’s 20.

The 2016 Billboard Music Awards airs live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 22 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Check out all the nominees below.
