Listen to a newly released version of Jay Z’s “Black Gangster”
Jay Z’s “This Life Forever” has been a DJ staple since ’99, and has gradually become known as “Black Gangster” (it appeared on the soundtrack). As tends to happen with these kind of rarities, there have been various versions floating around the Seratos of New York, and today DJ Absolut has brought yet another version to the mix.
It’s the 15th installment in his #MixtapeMondays series, and it definitely one of his most memorable releases. We’re still patiently awaiting Hov’s next move, but for now, we’re cool with revisiting some bars from what could be argued as his peak era.
