Akon recruits Future for the remix to his 2013 release “Forever.”

Akon returned from his musical hiatus last year and closed out 2015 on somewhat of a mini-comeback, releasing tracks like “Want Some,” “Whole Lot” featuring Migos, and “Stick Around.” Looking to keep a similar trend going in 2016, the pop-icon decides to recruit one of the industry’s hottest rappers in Future for the remix to his 2013 release “Forever,” which somehow surfaces online today.
