Berna, an East London rap artist, has released a new song titled “Straight Outta Newham.”
In “Straight Outta Newham,” Berna tells the bare bones story of his time spent in East, the bus rides he took, and the sights he saw. The epic Double Or Nothing-produced film, which alludes to the golden age of hip-hop in the ’90s, offered him a platform to share his experience via contemplative lyrics spat in the streets of Newham.
Berna’s early career black box freestyle was critically lauded, and ever since then he’s been playing catch-up.
