It’s that time of the year again, yes, the 2017 BET Awards are just around the corner. Spearheaded by Beyoncé, Bruno Mars and independent hip-hop king Chance The Rapper lead this years nominations with Solange and ATL rap trio Migos trailing behind closely.
Beyoncé’s nods, totaling seven, include best female R&B/pop artist, best collaboration, album of the year and video of the year; while Mars, who’s also up for album of the year and video of the year, grabbed a nomination for best male R&B/pop artist as well. QC’s leading act, the Migos,’ nominations include best group and best collaboration for their summer smash “Bad and Bougee” with Lil Uzi Vert.
Chicago native and Grammy Award Winner, CTR, is nominated for Best male hip-hop artist and best new artist alongside nominee along with 21 Savage, Cardi B, Khalid and Young M.A. Check out the full list nominee’s after the break and be sure to catch the award show live on June 25 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles at 8PM eastern.
